Professional Experience

I am a consultant, educator, author, lay counselor, and advocate/activist.
 
My current focus is on bringing awareness and understanding of Dissociation and the Spectrum of Dissociative Effects to the general public.
 
I have a background in education and the communicative arts, social services, and spiritual and social change leadership.
 
I hold a Social Service Worker Honors Certificate from Malaspina College, (now called Vancouver Island University).

  • Presented 2 part Webinar for Survivorship.org – Inner Structures: Settle In and Get Comfortable
  • Founding membership – The Center for the Study of Empathic Therapy, Education and Living’s Empathic Therapy Network  for psychiatric reform

  • Founding Member – United States Truth and Reconciliation Coalition, (USTRC), which became North American Truth and Reconciliation Coalition (NATRC) in 2011

  • Documentary Interview of me by Ellen Lacter, Healing from Ritual Abuse and Mind Control: Survivor Trish Fotheringham Speaks Out, that became a 3-DVD set with helpful tips, ideas and suggestions those who deal with these issues
